The Head of Integrated Services is a key leadership role within the
Brothers of Charity Services Ireland - Limerick Region and is an
important member of the Senior Management Team. The role holds the
overall responsibility for the delivery of Residential, Day and
Respite Supports to adults with an intellectual disability living in
Bawnmore and related designated centres, East Limerick and Foynes
centres. The role holds accountability and responsibility for the
overall leadership, management, planning, supervision and coordination
of a person centred support service both at strategic and operational
level. This includes being responsible for ensuring that every person
who is supported within the Integrated Model of Service has the best
life possible, based on their own needs and wishes, and that they are
enabled to live as independent a life as possible that supports their
choices and goals.
ESSENTIAL:
* Hold a professional nursing or allied health qualification with
significant experience in the area of Intellectual Disability or
related services
* Be currently working or have worked within the last 3 years at a
senior level in a Health/Social Care Service
* Management qualification of Level 8 or higher degree or equivalent
qualification
* Minimum of 5 years management experience leading a service
* Be computer literate including proficiency in Microsoft Office and
knowledge and proficiency of using Information Systems
* Have experience through their work, of enabling, empowering and
inspiring vulnerable people to live independent and meaningful lives
and to be at the centre of all decisions relating to their
life/service experience
* Experience of leading out on Quality and Standards
* Have an excellent understanding of the current and changing
direction of policy and service provision as well as in-depth
knowledge and proven track record in legislative and regulatory
compliance
* Have extensive knowledge of service innovation in a similar area
